As our Parking & Transportation Manager, you will manage and maintain the operation of all Rose Quarter-administered parking facilities and surfaces. This position will act as a leader of the Rose Quarter facility and event operations, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maximized by maintaining the highest level of service thresholds and initiatives aligned with the Rose Quarter standards.
DAY-TO-DAY:
- Manage daily parking and traffic operations for the Rose Quarter, including event operations, staff and tenant passes, and third-party needs.
- Actively oversee 7 parking lots, coordinate event vehicular and pedestrian traffic to minimize congestion, and maintain parking facilities and equipment.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with PBOT, ODOT, and city representatives to ensure Rose Quarter's involvement in surrounding construction projects.
- Track and analyze financial reports to maximize revenue capture and cost-effectiveness.
- Administer and implement parking operation policies and procedures while staying current with new technology and methods for process improvements.
- Provide social media and navigation app updates on traffic and parking availability, as needed.
- Collaborate with Event Managers to ensure parking and traffic plans align with all Rose Quarter activities, including multiple events happening simultaneously.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by upholding high service standards across all parking and transportation operations.
- Maintain and update the traffic management plan as needed.
WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
- Have 3 years of experience in parking and traffic operations.
- Possess strong knowledge of parking management best practices, industry regulations, and traffic flagging laws.
- Are proficient in accounting procedures related to budgeting, forecasting, auditing, reconciling, billing, and invoicing.
- Have the ability to log information and perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment while ensuring excellent guest and employee experiences.
- Have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends regularly.
- Can work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Excel in customer service for assisting guests using parking facilities.
- Can manage multiple events happening on the same day.
WE’D BE THRILLED IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Knowledge of traffic operations and ingress/egress patterns.
- Experience maintaining relationships with third-party vendors.
- Experience creating and administering parking policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with basic computing equipment and software, including Windows OS, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience using social media and digital tools (e.g., Waze) for traffic and parking updates.
- Familiarity with parking facility maintenance and equipment upkeep.
