Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across all areas of the facility. Your work will ensure that our spaces are welcoming, hygienic, and functional for employees, visitors, and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of offices, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in high-traffic areas, including hallways, lobbies, kitchens, and conference rooms.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to support sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stocked.
- Support special projects, including event setups, seasonal deep cleaning, and facility upgrades.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to create a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.
- Monitor the cleanliness and safety of exterior areas, such as walkways, parking lots, and entrances.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and procedures.
- Basic maintenance skills (e.g., minor repairs, plumbing, electrical work) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Coachability: Must be open to feedback and willing to learn, improving skills and work processes as directed.
- Adaptability: Ability to accept constructive feedback and apply it to enhance performance and effectiveness in the role.
