J ob Summary
This is a full-time position in which the candidate will design and detail interior spaces, exhibit displays, site plans, and facade designs for a wide range of attraction projects within the Ripley brand. Must be able to develop creative, technical and original solutions that are on time and on budget. The candidate will work closely with the Creative Team, Exhibit and Archive Department, Interactive Technicians and Project Managers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently but also thrives in a team environment. Remote and / or hybrid work options to be discussed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Research and develop ideas, concepts and storylines for new and renovation projects
- Develop preliminary concept designs and presentations for stakeholder approval
- Prepare full Detail Design packages (to include overall gallery / attraction layout, guest experience touch points, wall and show graphics, millwork / furniture design, exhibit display planning, multimedia integration, wall / floor treatments, lighting / audio and special effects, etc.) for project fabrication, production and installation phases
- Work on multiple projects at once and adjust to changing priorities
