What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Area Supervisor - Park View position at Ripon Unified School District?
About Us
Ripon Unified School District is committed to delivering high-quality education for all students. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where students can thrive. We achieve this by maintaining lower class sizes at all grade levels and implementing an articulated program from kindergarten through high school.
We value the strong connection between our schools and the community. Parents and local residents actively participate in school activities, providing invaluable support for our educational programs. This collaboration enables us to offer a comprehensive and inclusive learning experience for our students.
Our district comprises five elementary schools, one high school, and one continuation high school. Approximately 2,288 elementary students are distributed across the five elementary schools in grades TK through 8, while the two high schools have around 1,067 students in grades 9 through 12.
Our staff consists of over 150 certificated employees, including teachers and itinerants, who deliver regular classroom instruction and special services. Additionally, we have more than 200 support staff members, including aides, bilingual liaisons, secretaries, custodians, and yard duties personnel. Our leadership team comprises 18 administrators who work together to create a sense of community and focus on supporting our students.
This role involves supervising children during recess and lunch from 11:15-1:15.
