Ripple Effect is seeking multiple Patient Engagement Scientists to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the groundbreaking work of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
In this role, you will be at the forefront of connecting patients with ARPA-H funded advancements. You will build processes and synthesize information for driving patient engagement, track their engagement, and create engagement reports. You will apply biomedical product development experience to develop an understanding of ARPA-H's program portfolio as well as liaise with other federal efforts such as the Cancer Moonshot program.

- Salary Range: $99,430 - $125,281 per year
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of clinical and regulatory science to create artifacts to educate cancer patients on ARPA-H's investments towards advancing cancer care with the goal of increasing their engagement with ARPA-H's programs
- Promote awareness within the cancer patient community, advocacy organizations and public on ARPA-H's investments and achievements in cancer care
- Plan and execute project plans for engaging cancer advocacy groups and create engagement reports.
- Design, build, and manage processes to create internal visibility on cancer patient engagements data.
- Serve as an internal point-of-contact and connector to the broader Cancer Moonshot federal community
- Apply knowledge of biomedical product development to develop a portfolio level view of ARPA-H's investments in clinical care, diagnostics and population health to identify potential applications in cancer
Minimum education and experience:
- Master's degree in pharmacology, toxicology, public health, or other related areas
- 15 years of relevant experience in clinical trials or regulatory affairs with an emphasis on patient engagement
- Experience in clinical trials and regulatory requirements required
- Experience in healthcare, population health, and product development
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills; demonstrated capacity for detailed organization and synthesis of abstract and disparate information

- PhD in relevant area
- Experience in managing advocacy groups related projects
- Experience in regulatory compliance, health system administration or medical device incubation
- Experience working within or on various aspects of the Cancer Moonshot initiative
- Experience working with an ARPA agency
- Understanding of HHS policies and regulations
- Experience with government contracting or consulting
