About the Role
As the Social Media Engagement Coordinator, you’ll monitor and respond to messages, comments and reviews online, escalate issues to the appropriate teams and help manage Ripple Fiber’s online reputation. You’ll also assist with social listening, crisis management, and after-hours/weekend escalations as needed. Additionally, you’ll support marketing initiatives, including photoshoots, events, and community engagement efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and engage with customer comments, messages, and reviews across platforms.
- Track brand mentions using social listening tools and monitor online trends.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve concerns and answer questions.
- Assist the marketing department with social content, events, and community outreach.
- Manage the after-hours/weekend escalations when necessary.
- Analyze engagement data and report insights to optimize strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
- Internship experience in social media, marketing or PR highly preferred.
- Social media, marketing, public relations, communications. Min. 1 years at a marketing agency.
- 2 years of experience in social media engagement or community management.
- Proficiency in Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar tools.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to maintain brand voice.
- Preferred: Experience with social listening, sentiment analysis, and escalation processes.
- Preferred one year of experience in a marketing agency environment, assisting or managing multiple client accounts at once.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and after-hours, and travel as needed.
