Logistics Coordinator
Ripple Junction is looking to add a full-time Logistics Coordinator to our team. The right person will be able to support the team through their attention to detail, solid work ethic, and commitment to accuracy. You do not need to have extensive experience in Logistics but must have a great attitude and ability to learn and retain information and an overall positive attitude. This role will support the sales and production team and get to work for an incredibly cool pop culture apparel company. This person will excel at providing internal and external customer service – you are comfortable excelling in a process as well as seeking ways to improve it daily. Effective communication with other departments, including sales, production, distribution center and third-party shippers and docking stations will ensure your success and ability to grow. Our ideal candidate lives within 30 miles of our West Chester, OH office, and is eager to learn and grow with us.
A Day in the Life
- Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses, distribution centers, or customers, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain and document customer routing guidelines, ensuring they are clearly understood, up to date, and consistently followed.
- Anticipate support needs and proactively request assistance to enable the team to meet objectives effectively.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in the ERP system and tracking tools, providing cross-functional visibility.
- Collaborate with internal and external support teams to eliminate process delays and ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with external suppliers and customers to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate shipment errors as needed, working closely with team members to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor shipment queues to confirm pickups are routed, scheduled, executed, and documented with signed BOLs and necessary paperwork.
- Create accurate packing lists and carton labels using designated software.
- Navigate within customer routing portals and carrier routing systems (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- All responsibilities are essential to the role.
Must Haves
- Previous experience in data entry or customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook 365.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, managing urgent shipments and unexpected delays.
- A proactive mindset with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and grow.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in apparel or wholesale distribution industry.
- Familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, and advanced spreadsheet functions.
- Knowledge of shipping methods, freight terms, and warehouse operations.
