Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a driven and ambitious Outside Sales Representative to join our storm restoration team. This 1099 independent contractor position offers uncapped commission potential and a flexible schedule. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for generating leads, conducting inspections, and assisting homeowners through the insurance restoration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform outside sales through door-to-door canvassing in storm-affected neighborhoods
- Conduct roof inspections to assess storm damage (training provided)
- Educate homeowners on storm restoration and assist with insurance claim filings
- Build and maintain client relationships throughout the restoration process
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and quality project completion
- Achieve and exceed sales goals and performance targets
- Stay informed on industry trends, local storm activity, and insurance processes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, storm restoration, or roofing (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable with door-to-door sales and client interaction
- Ability to climb roofs (safety training and equipment provided)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
