Program Overview
Arch's summer internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides a learning experience that serves as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field.
The program is designed with the following objectives:
Workload includes: U.S. Weekly Economic Update; US & International Economic Updates to the Board; deal analysis for credit risk transfer (CRT) investments team; forecast the U.S., Euro area, U.K., and Australian economies and housing markets; design alternative economic scenarios; assess housing market overvaluation by geography; develop country risk scores to assess the risk of doing business in various economies.
Review and summarize economic data, support the economic forecasting and scenario design process, conduct ad-hoc research and empirical analysis.
Preferably pursuing graduate studies in economics / finance. Interest in economics with related coursework at a minimum.
