We're seeking...

We seek motivated and talented students to help us build the next-generation developer database platform. As an intern, you will work directly with MongoDB’s product managers, software engineers, and various teams within the larger R&D org including marketing, UX design, and analytics. You will be fully integrated into the team, understanding and analyzing users’ needs and pain points, and advocating on their behalf to improve the product. You will synthesize various data sources, and discuss technical solutions and tradeoffs with engineers and designers to create new product requirements and experiences. You will also refine and communicate the product strategy to relevant stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For In You...

• In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field
• Technical skills; while not expected to write production code, you should be comfortable diving into design and code logic, learning from existing examples, exploring APIs, triaging bugs, analyzing support cases, and speaking on any of the technical aspects of the tools in your portfolio
• Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Curious and have a desire to learn and adapt; you are a self-starter and thrive in ambiguity
• Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks lasting from dates in June until August. All interns are considered hybrid employees, designated the "in office" working model, and are expected to be in their office location 3-5 days a week.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is: $79,872 - $114,400 USD
