Your Career
As a Content Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to help define the network security market and work closely with key stakeholders across the company to fuel awareness and demand for Palo Alto Networks solutions with Technology Alliance Partners (TAP).
You will assist in developing the content strategy, editorial direction, production, execution, and measurement of content, working closely with our TAP business development and product marketing teams. You will gain experience identifying content gaps, developing and testing content strategies mapped to the customer journey, and developing streamlined content development processes. You will fine tune your editorial craftsmanship skills and learn about the growing cybersecurity industry. You will work cross-functionally across a large marketing organization that includes product marketing, campaigns, field marketing, creative services, web/digital and marketing operations teams.
Our global internship program trains the next generation of cybersecurity talent across a range of specializations, from threat intelligence to information security, engineering, and marketing. Interns and recent graduates can learn about the network security industry from leading thinkers, grow their professional networks, and be part of a career-defining experience.

- Develop, implement, and track the performance of an editorial strategy and roadmap for security content
- Write, edit, produce, publish and promote industry-leading content
- Efficiently manage internal and external agencies, vendors, creative teams and copywriters
- Establish goals and clearly defined metrics of success to measure the quality of content, audience growth, engagement and content reach
- Work collaboratively with communications, security research teams, product marketing
- Own, maintain and enforce editorial guidelines
- Understand and grow our earned, paid, shared and owned security content strategy
- Stay up to date on security content landscape to make content strategy recommendations
- Experience in and passion for security and technical content
- Excellent editorial, communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of team members across different functions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Driven, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to improve on our current marketing efforts
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
