Despite the significance of these products and the dollars spent, the experience is still painfully antiquated, expensive, and confusing.
Rippling is building the first modern marketplace that seamlessly connects brokers, employers, and employees with any benefit. Our platform powers discovery, purchase, and use of benefits products around the world. Our benefits vertical includes our Benefits Platform (recommendations, payments, and our benefits eligibility engine), our rapidly growing Benefits Marketplace of over 100 partners, and our natively-built Rippling Benefits Products.
As a Product Lead on our Benefits Administration platform, you’ll own the experiences that help guide employees and their families through selecting and managing the right benefits for their life, as well as enable employers to provide this support at scale. As a core owner of the Benefits platform you will scale the systems, workflow engine, and insights that power our Rippling-branded and Benefits Marketplace products.

What You Will Do
- Own the experience from both a product and platform perspective for how employees and their families select, navigate, and utilize their benefits
- Craft an intuitive, simple, and flexible product experience that works for companies anywhere from 1 through 15,000 employees
- Scale our current platform to support millions of employees across the globe
- Work cross-functionally with virtually every team – across product, engineering, design, marketing, and customer-facing functions – to design an extensible system that can meet the evolving needs of Rippling product teams, our customers, and our Benefits Marketplace partners
- 5 years of Product Management experience
- Self-starter with a bias towards action
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have owned both 0-to-1 product launches and products at scale with millions of users
- Helicopter pilot mentality - you can easily switch from high level strategy and planning to UI polish and data model details
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and comfortable working in a highly cross-functional role
- Data driven and proficient in SQL - you can easily and independently use data to identify problems, prioritize, and generate insights.
- Experience building products in a regulated space and interacting with legal and compliance team
- Startup experience a plus
- Strong alignment with our leadership principles: in particular Go and See, and Are Right, a Lot.
