About the role
In this first-of-its-kind role at Rippling, you will build and lead a team responsible for delivering customized software solutions that solve our customers' pain points. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and exceptional client engagement skills. You will oversee the execution of projects, mentor and develop a team of engineers, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our forward deployed operations.
You will play a critical part in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge technology solutions and customer needs. You will work directly with customers to understand their challenges, design and implement custom solutions, and ensure successful deployment and integration of their existing systems with Rippling. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and customer-focused professional who is excited about solving real-world problems and making a significant impact on customer success.
What you will do
- Lead and manage the Forward Deployed Engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of customer projects.
- Own end-to-end execution of critical projects for customers, including building custom data connectors, custom applications, workflows and analytics using Rippling's products and Python, Javascript, Ruby, Java, Go, C or C .
- Attract, retain and develop top talent to build and scale FDE team.
- Develop and implement processes that will drive delivery of customer outcomes, optimize team performance, enable the team to scale.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial scoping to post-deployment troubleshooting and optimization.
- Identify and develop new use cases for Rippling applications
- Collaborate cross-functionally across account teams, product management and engineering teams to ensure alignment of customer needs with our product roadmap and capabilities.
