Your Role as a Maintenance Technician:
As a Maintenance Technician at RISE at Nocatee, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our community remains in top condition. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding promptly to resident requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Maintenance & Repairs – Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general carpentry
- Conduct Inspections – Regularly inspect apartments, common areas, and building systems to identify maintenance needs
- Respond to Resident Requests – Deliver excellent service by addressing maintenance issues quickly and effectively
- Unit Turnovers – Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, repairs, and cleaning
- Maintain Workspaces – Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and in good condition
- Adhere to Safety Guidelines – Follow company policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations
What You Bring:
- Experience: Prior maintenance or facilities experience required
- Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Customer Service Mindset: Friendly, professional attitude when interacting with residents and team members
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Location: Must live within 30 minutes of RISE at Nocatee
