Oxford West is looking for a service minded and driven team player Maintenance Technician II to join our growing team. The maintenance technician functions under general supervision while performing a variety of maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance in and around the apartment community.

What you will do:
- Conduct routine inspections of apartments, common areas, and building systems to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked maintenance shop.
- Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with unit turnovers, including painting and cleaning.
- Understand the needs of the residents and exceed them; develop a sense of community and help maintain a positive environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Live within 30 minutes of Oxford West
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair common maintenance issues.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
