What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a large-scale student housing community featuring 1,954 beds delivered for Fall 2025, with an additional 1,028 beds coming in Fall 2026.
- Oversee leasing and resident relations, creating a community where students feel at home.
- Manage budgeting, financials, and reporting, ensuring the property meets revenue and expense targets.
- Direct and support maintenance and facilities teams, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance plans are executed.
- Oversee building operations in 7-8 story, metal and concrete-framed structures, ensuring maintenance and safety compliance.
- Coordinate unit turnovers and facility preparations, particularly during peak move-in and move-out seasons.
- Ensure compliance with university partnership agreements, housing regulations, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy and engagement levels.
- Lead and mentor staff, fostering a team culture of excellence and customer service.
- Maintain and enhance amenities, including multiple resident lounges, study rooms, multi-purpose rooms, game rooms, and complimentary laundry centers.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of property management experience, preferably in student housing
- Facilities management experience or a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance operations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and operational strategies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a talent for problem-solving and team motivation.
- Experience with university-affiliated housing is a plus!
- Familiarity with leasing platforms and property management software (Entrata experience preferred).
