Position Description
The Program Support Specialist is a detail-oriented, process-driven, collaborative problem-solver who is focused on providing compassionate customer service to our program participants and staff. They support RISE by administering enrollment paperwork and entering data accurately into our case management and state reporting databases. Additionally, this person provides vital programmatic support by ensuring program staff have the materials they need to run programs effectively, including scanning, printing, ordering supplies, setting up programming spaces, and mailing program materials.
The Program Support Specialist will be responsive to team needs and able to effectively manage their time between data entry and hands-on programmatic support. Data collection and entry are routine components of this position, requiring you to collect and input data accurately and in a timely manner. This allows program progress to be tracked and measured. The Program Support Specialist will also provide programmatic support to facilitate the delivery of RISE programs, ensuring staff have all the necessary materials for classes and events to run smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Provide program support to staff, including scanning documents, creating participant profiles in our secure database, data tracking and reporting, printing and mailing program, managing and ordering classroom supplies, and technology support for programs
- Data entry of sensitive information requiring integrity and accuracy in case management and state database systems
- Visit correctional facilities to enroll participants in programs and services, including administering surveys, entering information into case management software and storing all appropriate paperwork
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate seamless service and program delivery through data entry and hands-on program support
- Providing client-centered customer service to program participants that is compassionate, professional, and completed in a non-judgmental manner
- Ensure all data, forms, and processes align with program policies and funder guidelines
- Proactively problem-solve and troubleshoot issues with the team
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive participant information with the utmost discretion
- Other duties as agreed upon
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain security clearance with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services for the purpose of accessing data
- Commitment to the RISE vision that “all people will find freedom from cycles of incarceration” and living out RISE values
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or other comparable office software
- Experience with data system management
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and remaining flexible in a fluid and fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, occasionally working evenings and weekends.
- Must have access to a vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
