4 year old trach/vent and g/j tube.. off vent during the day, non-mobile, non-verbal
Looking for someone who can work Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8a to 9p or 8a to 8p. More hours available possibly starting in August. Mom's oldest son plays football at Ole Miss and they will be traveling every weekend to the games. They will need over night care possibly on Friday and Saturday during this time. Must be extremely flexible.
MUST NOT BE SCARED OF DOGS!!!!! There is 1 in the home.

The LPN in Home Health provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and agency policies. Also, The LPN role coordinates the total plan of care with other health care professionals, and helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by planning and exchanging information with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources. All done within the patients home.
We are looking for compassionate LPN's to provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes in accordance with an established care plan!!
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients residences
- Follow physician prescribed patient care plan
- Administer prescribed medications
- Assist with clients personal care activities
- Complete & document patient assessment
- Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Provide companionship and basic emotional and/or psychological support
Qualifications
- Trach/Vent experience required
- GJ tube experience required
- At 1 least one year clinical experience required
- Home health nursing experience required
- Experience with total care patients required
- Must hold current licensure as a LPN in the state of Georgia
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Nursing and health care administration skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Ability to build rapport with patients & their family
