Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are kept clean and well-maintained, contributing to a safe and pleasant atmosphere for clients and employees alike.
Duties
- Maintains and shines lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and decorative trim.
- Cleans various spaces, including offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairwells, locker rooms, and other designated areas.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and buffs floors for a polished finish.
- Performs spot cleaning on rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Dusts furniture and office equipment to maintain a clean environment.
- Polishes metal fixtures and surfaces.
- Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork to remove dirt and stains.
- Cleans windows, door panels, and sills for a clear, streak-free appearance.
- Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays, ensuring proper disposal of trash.
- Transports garbage and waste materials to designated disposal sites.
- Refills bathroom essentials such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Replaces burnt-out light bulbs to maintain proper lighting.
- Delivers messages and correspondence as needed.
- Moves and transports small tools or equipment.
- Arranges tables and chairs in meeting rooms, auditoriums, or event spaces.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.

Pay: $17.52 - $22.65 per hour
