Job Description
The MRO/Parts Planner will be responsible for managing orders, processing equipment spare parts, operational supplies, and other goods and services needed for daily operations. They will also organize and manage physical inventory and inventory system.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement inventory management systems to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of inventory
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate prices and delivery terms for equipment spare parts and operational supplies
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and deliveries
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide support to the maintenance team by ensuring prompt delivery of necessary parts and materials
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of stockroom experience; mechanical background preferred
- Knowledge of CMMS
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; advanced skills in Excel preferred
- Self-starter able to work as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision to complete tasks
- Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
