Position Summary: The CBHI Support Clinician provides administrative support to the CBHI program directors with triage, weekly calls, and other duties related to CBHI referrals/waitlist management. This role requires a combination of organizational skills and exceptional communication abilities to ensure the seamless functioning of clinical and administrative operations within the CBHI programs. The CBHI Support Clini cian fulfills all the expectations and job duties specified in the IHT Clinician job description. This includes managing a caseload to meet the requirement of 25 weekly billable hours with an additional 15 admin hours to support CBHI triage calls, weekly calls, and diagnostic screenings as necessary. The CBHI Support Clinician will also provide coverage during clinicians' PTO.
Skills and Experience: Prefer minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and families. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Fulfill all job performance requirements for the IHT clinician as outlined in the job description.
- Assists Program Directors and Clinical Supervisors with triage calls, weekly waitlist calls, and diagnostic screenings.
- Complete timely documentation related to the outcome of these calls in Ninox and ReThink.
- Become knowledgeable and proficient in the Timely Access to Care Protocol for CBHI service providers including an understanding of expectations regarding referrals and waitlists processes for CBHI providers.
- Maintain effective communication with clinicians, peers, and management/Program Directors to provide updates, challenges, and achievements related to these calls and any communication with families waiting for CBHI related services.
- Respond to unforeseen situations or urgencies, making well-considered decisions to minimize administrative and clinical disruptions in CBHI.
- Demonstrate the ability to triage crises, urgency, safety, and risks.
- Understands the protocol for assessing and escalating referrals who presents as high-risks.
- All other duties assigned by Program Directors
