Role Overview
Rise Behavioral Services is committed to empowering students and educators alike in creating a positive and inclusive school environment. As a Classroom Behavior Support Coach, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with special needs and helping classrooms become vibrant spaces where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Behavioral Guidance: Collaborate closely with teachers to provide in-the-moment behavioral coaching to students from Pre-K to 12th grade, fostering an encouraging and structured classroom environment.
  • Data Analysis & Progress Tracking: Collect and organize student progress notes and behavior data to inform support strategies tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaboration & Training: Work with instructional staff to develop effective classroom management techniques and create learning materials aligned with each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
  • Classroom & Playground Engagement: Monitor students' interactions, promote positive behavior, and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment during classroom and playground activities.

Additional Duties
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and enhance skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive student information.
  • Support the school community by taking on other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior experience in special education, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of behavior management and motivational techniques for supporting students with special needs.
    • Ability to collaborate with educators and adapt to various classroom settings.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and staff.
  • Certifications: Valid CPR/First Aid certification, passing score on the High School Basic Skills Proficiency Test, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, health screening, and TB clearance.
