Job Overview
RISE is quickly growing and adding to our passionate and dynamic team of Skilled Behavior Technicians! We are seeking part-time technicians to work after school hours inside patient homes primarily in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti areas. We want compassionate professionals with dedication to empowering individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a Behavior Technician at RISE, you’ll work 1:1 with an autistic child implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and techniques to drive positive behavior change and improve your client’s quality of life under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Work Location
- Primary Area: Washtenaw County (Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, MI areas)
- Coming Soon: Livingston County
- Case Types: In patient homes, after school hours (so between hours of 3:30p – 8:30p)
Compensation: $18.50 - $22.00 / hour dependent on ABA experience and credential level
Experience: No previous experience required.
Advance your Career: Through RISE, you can increase your credential level and take the national exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) after completion of your probationary period.
Qualification Requirements:
- CPR (live-tested) and First Aid certification
- Clear background check
- Your own smart phone to bring internet to your client site sufficient to collect online data and stream in your tele-supervisions (RISE gives a monthly cell phone reimbursement)
- Your own reliable transportation
- Preferred: Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, and Michigan’s CMH systems
- Preferred: Knowledge of or experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with your ABA team, clients, families, and CMH caseworkers
- Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality
- Commitment to case utilization and integrity
