We are looking for a residential production manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our field crews and sub-contractors, in completing residential projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for communication of work flow with crews, ordering of materials, pulling of permits, pre-job communication with customers, paying of crews, job costing, and providing communication and support to the project managers.
Who we are looking for:
- Excellent communication skills-in person, over the phone, and through email
- Excellent organization skills-experience in Google sheets, Xcel, and other data input systems
- Able to work independently with little or no direction
- Able to handle up to 6 projects at a time
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Willingness to grow professionally and personally
- Adaptability to the seasons of the construction industry
The candidate will also be expected to assist in material running, directing crew work flow, and representing the company face-to-face with customers. The position will also work closely with our material suppliers maintaining a healthy relationship, and also work most closely with the president of the company in the day-to-day operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Reading of insurance estimates and satellite measurements to order materials
- Pulling permits
- Input of documents and checklists to ensure proper front-end workflow
- Communicating of job details to crews for upcoming jobs
- Job cost data input
- Conducting on-the-site start and final inspections, as well as, city inspections
- Developing agreements on price for all sub-contractors
- Expectation to be available for communication with crews, project managers, and president for anytime hours during the work week
Job Type: Salary-in the field and in office; expectation to be on site for necessary inspections and able to complete administrative duties either in the field, or in an office.
