MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team to provide, evaluate, and implement speech therapy services to pediatric clients.
*** PRN Saturdays opening available at our Stafford Clinic ***
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Licensed to practice as an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas by anticipated start date
- Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required
Job Duties:
- Performs in depth patient evaluation and develops treatment plans as indicated for patients
- Evaluates patients needs and administers therapy to preserve and improve abilities for speech and language development, feeding, swallowing, etc.
- Implements treatment plan, provides state of the art Speech Therapy services in accordance with the Plan of Treatment (POT) approved by the physician
- Assists the client to optimize skills and abilities and help the client to an improved quality of life
- Monitors, evaluates and modifies treatment for clients with multiple needs in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.
- Collaborate with the MedCare team to ensure quality care
- Open to supervise assistants is a plus but not necessarily required
