RISE Academy is a subsidiary of RISE Education System, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization that is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Cognia. It is our mission to promote the holistic development of the child through an authentic and experiential student learning experience. This is accomplished by educating the child in the formation of faith, family and community. RISE Academy strives for the development of the whole child by providing excellence in academic preparation in a faith-based environment. We are looking to hire full-time Instructional Leader / Academic Director for the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities will entail one or more of the following:
- Plan and evaluate the educational program (selecting learning resources and planning activities for students, parents and teachers) in one or more areas of the school
- Oversee the academic program (curriculum development, scope implementation and revision, classroom instructions, review lesson plans, teaching strategies, intervention programs and enrichment programs) in one or more areas of the school
- Institute administrator and teacher training and retention, peer observation and teacher mentor programs, support and coach teachers to improve their teaching techniques and classroom management
- Align processes and procedures with system level guidelines and procedures in order to achieve the school’s main objective: students with academic excellence, holistic excellence and high moral standards, who are well-adjusted in the overall local community.
Required Skills/Qualities:
- Bachelor's degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field
- At least 2 years experience as a lead teacher / coordinator / director in an academic institution
Preferred Skills/Qualities:
- Valid teaching credentials
- Master's degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field
- At least 2 years experience in a managerial role in an academic institution
Compensation:
The compensation range is based on teaching credentials (non-credentialed vs. credentialed), working experience, academic degrees, and certifications. Children of staff members are eligible for tuition discounts.
Salary : $25 - $39
