Job Description
The Electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in the modular units.
Job Requirements:
- Valid MN Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A MN Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications
- Attend continuing education for position
- Interpret construction documents, specifications, verbal and written instructions
- Competent in email and Project Management platforms such as Procore
- Work in restricted areas and possible at heights
- Ability to work on tight deadlines under pressure
- Perform as a self-starter and also a team player
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills with the capability to troubleshoot and make logical project minded decisions
- Lead the electrical team/department
- Ability to work in all elements depending on job location and time of year
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, kneel, stoop, or drive for long periods of time
- Must physically be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs
- Installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Set switchgear, panels, and other distribution equipment
- Measure, cut and bend conduit
- Trace out short circuits in wiring, along with troubleshooting other electrical issues
- Make minor electrical repairs
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Work closely with the QC Department, Master Electricians, Supervisors, and Plant Manager
- Lead individuals to allow learning and development
- Supervise and approve all electrical work done by electricians and journeymen.
- Responsible for signing for all electrical work in the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures.
- Assist and support other production floor operations as required.
- Demonstrate excellent and efficient communication
- Manage project files, drawings, documents and records in our system
- Perform in accordance with the National Electrical Code
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
