Job Description:
The Facility Maintenance worker will assist in all aspects of the company’s facilities and production areas to ensure proper installation, repair, and upkeep. This position is critical to the operational success of the organization so that all team members have the best possible workspaces that create operational efficiency.
The Facility Maintenance worker will have exceptional work ethic, good attendance, and keeping a clean driving record is a must. A solid understanding of hand and power tools. Must have knowledge in, or be willing to learn basic electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, forklift, scissor lift, skid loader and boom lift.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
Repair/maintain hand tools from production areas.
Basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
Conduct periodic facility inspections, including electrical, air handling, hydraulic systems to ensure functionality.
Must be able to drive to various stores and suppliers.
Ensure exterior building and grounds are properly maintained, including mowing and snow removal.
Conduct repairs of building systems or tools.
Monitor inventory of replacement parts and tools.
Conduct and report activities to Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or GED.
Driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A working knowledge of tools, machinery & equipment with strong technical and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Must have knowledge in, or be willing to learn basic electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, forklift, scissor lift, skid loader and boom lift.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Unquestionable ethical standards and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and with team members.
