The Finished Plumber will install water, vent, and waste pipe, along with appliances and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and dishwashers in modular unit.
Responsibilities
- Installs pipes for water and gas.
- Assembles pipe sections, tubing, and fitting, using coupling, clamps, screws, bolts, cements, plastic solvents, caulking or soldering.
- Assembles fittings and valves for installation.
- Installs appliances and fixtures to modular unit.
- Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipes to required angles using hand and power tools, or machines.
- Follows instruction on installation.
- Tests plumbing system for leaks and other problems.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- 0-2 years’ previous related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Dependable
- Willingness to learn.
- Prolonged periods of standing, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time.
