Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master

RISE Inc. is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join the Solution Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure (SESI) team. This role will be responsible for managing IT projects, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, and acting as the Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement. The Agile Project Manager will work closely with IT leadership, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with the organization’s strategic goals, including cloud adoption, business intelligence, security, and infrastructure modernization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as the Scrum Master for the SESI team, facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with the organization's technology roadmap and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Drive Agile best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Track and manage project progress, identifying and addressing impediments to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile principles and frameworks.
• Ensure effective risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Agile project management tools to maintain visibility into team capacity, velocity, and deliverables.
• Foster strong cross-functional relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to support the success of IT initiatives.
• Champion a user-centric approach to IT service delivery and process improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Certification in Agile methodologies such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is preferred.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, security, or software development projects within an Agile framework.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and project management best practices.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and drive change in a complex IT environment.
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, non-profit, government) is a plus.
