What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Rise & Shine Biscuit Kitchen?
Rise & Shine Biscuit Kitchen is a coffee and biscuit shop with three locations in the Denver Metro area. We serve traditional, southern-style biscuits, biscuit sandwiches and a full coffeehouse menu. It's a small, efficient, high volume operation.
We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working, fast-learning person to join our Garrison St. (Lakewood) team. The barista/customer service position is a full-time job that includes taking customer orders, making coffee and other beverages, prep, dish washing, and other general tasks to help out the team.

Other requirements include, but aren't limited to:
- Completing all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
- Maintaining cleanliness standards in order to have a clean, presentable and attractive facility and to exceed state and local health board requirements.
- Presenting a clean and professional appearance at all times as well as impeccable personal hygiene.
- Must have a great attitude and high regard for upholding service standards.
- Previous experience with coffee and espresso equipment required.
- Weekend shifts may be required.
- This job requires repetitive motion and the ability to lift and carry up 50 lbs.
- Performing other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Base pay is $16-18/hr for qualified applicants with opportunity for pay increases, plus equal split of tips ($6-14/hr shift dependent)
