Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including geriatrics and hospital medicine, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, particularly in outpatient and inpatient environments, as well as familiarity with trauma centers and teaching hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Facilitate mobility and assist with physical therapy exercises as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in geriatrics or hospital settings such as Level I or Level II Trauma Centers.
- Familiarity with outpatient care practices and the ability to work effectively in both inpatient and home environments.
- Experience in teaching hospitals or similar healthcare facilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care with empathy and respect for client dignity.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
