9 pm - 5 : 30 am, Sun-Thurs (1 opening) = $2.00 / hr. shift pay
1 pm - 9 : 30 pm, Mon-Fri (2 openings) = $1.00 / hr. shift pay
- Must be available for overtime work and daytime training prior to final shift
Job Purpose
Support the company’s maintenance program by focusing on plant equipment and building maintenance in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Essential Functions
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., mechanical drive systems, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment (e.g., wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC / DC motor drives)Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipmentPerform building maintenance and repairs (e.g., air conditioning, lights, forklifts)Perform repairs on equipment to prevent long-term downtime until permanent repairs can be completedFabricate replacement parts or equipment as neededlectronically troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment by means of installed PLCElectronically troubleshoot 24 Volt control circuitsReport food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnelComply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and proceduresPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
2-year degree in electronics / maintenance mechanics or 5 years in maintenance mechanic roleExperience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronicsPLC experienceAdvanced knowledge of CMMSWorking knowledge of lockout / tagout programsWorking knowledge of boiler operationsExperience with ammonia, freon, or other cooling mediaAdvanced stick and tig welding skills; ability to weld to sanitary standardsIntermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft OfficeAbility to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutionsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to complete assigned tasksAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentThe hourly range for this role is $36 - $37 per hour plus stated shift pay if applicable. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
