Under the general supervision of the Purchasing Director, the Procurement Analyst will be a part of a progressive Finance team and responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the procurement process as RiseBoro transitions to a new platform. As a member of the Finance team the Procurement Analyst will support the procurement cycle ensuring proper process adherence by focusing on accuracy and integration with accounting processes within the department. The Procurement Analyst will lead a vendor database and contract management projects . The ideas and creativity of the Procurement Analyst will play an essential role in process improvement within the team. The Procurement Analyst will lead a vendor database and contract management projects . Additionally, they will work closely with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products . Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Execute purchases on behalf of RiseBoro Divisions, adhering to policies, controls, and documentation requirements
- Develop vendor database by reviewing existing vendors and documentation to categorize and upload them into an online portal.
- Oversee all aspects of the vendor database and ensuring optimal functionality
- Assist with the oversight of the Procurement centralized inbox responding to inquiries regarding requisitions, purchase orders, contracts invoices from various divisions
- Assists with the onboarding of new suppliers, changes to existing suppliers, and supplier communication to resolve transactional issues
- Manage and track existing accounts with vendors
- Assist with analyzing, and interpreting data related to supplier performance and logistics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Review purchase orders and ensuring accuracy in all documentation
- Maintain and update the purchasing database and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information; provide recommendations as needed
- Manage the contract management portal and resources to ensure contract obligations are understood. Communicate these obligations to the appropriate parties when needed
- Support the implementation and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures
- Assist with driving organizational compliance via employee training and education
- Develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to better understand needs and ensure the procurement team is supporting the organization as a whole
- Participate in the roll-out of online procurement tracking modules in RiseBoro’s ERP (Yardi)
- Support the development of RiseBoro RFPs
- Assist in the development of policies and SOPs.
- Other related duties as required

- Systematic understanding of procurement processes and best practices, as well as other finance and accounting functions a plus

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required ; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years of related experience supporting or executing procurements with an understanding of best practices preferred
