Job Title: UKG Functional Tester
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in functional testing of UKG Pro (formerly Kronos Workforce Dimensions/Workforce Central).
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional test plans and test cases for the UKG Pro platform, specifically focusing on Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and EZ Call modules.
- Perform thorough functional testing, including system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
- Identify, document, and track defects using a designated defect management system, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Develop a strong understanding of UKG processes and configurations related to Staffing, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Absence and Leave Management, and EZ Call.
- Utilize your knowledge of UKG reports to support the product team in validating data integrity and system functionality.
- Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in testing the Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and EZ Call modules within UKG Pro.
- Strong understanding of UKG processes and configurations related to Staffing, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Absence and Leave Management, and EZ Call.
- Experience in utilizing and understanding UKG standard reports and the ability to analyze data to support testing efforts.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Required Education: At least a Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required.
