Program Manager of Residential Services

RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-Time Program Manager to oversee the Sunken Meadow Residence and Community Residence/Single Room Occupancy Programs reporting to the Associate Director of Residential Services. the position is split between Queens & Brentwood

Department: Residential Services

Hours: 35 hours per week

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Human Services and a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of experience in mental health. Knowledge of residential services, evidence based practices, dual-diagnosis, and psychiatric rehabilitation practice. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health. Clean and valid driver’s license.

Job Function:

Manage staff to ensure the smooth operations of multifaceted residential programs serving people with psychiatric disabilities. Assist the Associate Director in all aspects of program supervision, management and development.

RiseWell Community Services (RiseWell) is a multi-service, community-based social wellness agency and is a major provider of health and wellness, senior & children’s services, housing, and support services in Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Manhattan. Originally comprised of an alliance of family advocacy groups, RiseWell Community Services was incorporated as a not-for-profit in 1972. For fifty years, RiseWell has developed innovative, successful programs that are designed to meet the needs of vulnerable populations, such as individuals in recovery, those living with chronic medical conditions, adult home residents, the homeless, low-income seniors and at-risk children.
