RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-Time Substance abuse Specialist to join the ACT Team in Babylon, NY
REPORTS TO: Team Leader
DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services
HOURS: 35 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling (if rehabilitation counselor, C.R.C. preferred) and/or CASAC. A valid and clean NY State driver license. Minimum 1 years of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting.Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
JOB FUNCTION:
Provide direct services with a focus on substance abuse recovery and harm reduction on a mobile, multi-disciplinary treatment team for persons with severe and persistent mental illness.
