RiseWell Community Services is looking for a full-time Vocational Specialist to join our Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team / Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. This individual will supervise and provide direct services, with a focus on vocational and educational services, to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. The Vocational Specialist serves as a member of a mobile, multi-disciplinary treatment team, delivering individualized care to those in need.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling (if Rehabilitation Counselor, C.R.C. preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting
- A valid and clean NY State driver license
- Fingerprinting, criminal record check
- Approval from NYS Office of Mental Health
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of treatment and rehabilitation methods for persons with severe and persistent mental illness
- Skilled with individual and group counseling techniques
Core & Essential Responsibility
SALARY
50,000.00 – $53,000 per year
