RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-time Volunteer Counselor who reports the Program Supervisor within the Senior/Junior Companion Program at Patchogue. Position is a Full-Time paid position (Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM)
JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for the daily operation of the Junior Senior Companion Program, including coordinating and directly supervising volunteer activities, providing volunteer training and orientation, completing program documentation, and data collection/reporting to comply with funding source requirements, in conjunction with the program supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Clearance of the following:
· Nationwide name-based NSOPW check
· Statewide Criminal History Registry Check
· Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment
· NYS Office of Mental Health
· Fingerprint-based FBI check (Fieldprint)
· Clean and valid NYS driver’s license
