Job Description
Risha Engineering Group, Inc. has openings for an Associate Civil/Structural Engineer position for new construction and rehabilitation projects for office, retail, educational, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial buildings. Projects are located across the Western United States. This is a work from office position in our Burbank location.
Associate
Duties include:
With supervision from senior staff, prepare complete calculations within allotted hours and budget for wood, steel, and concrete buildings. Design and detail connections for all materials. Supervise preparation of construction documents by CAD personnel. Ensure that progress and plan check submittal packages are complete. Prepare well written technical reports. Demonstrate thorough understanding of building and material codes. Some knowledge of performance based advanced analytical techniques and ASCE 41 is a plus. Must have 3 – 5 years’ experience. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required. California PE License or ability to obtain in a 2 year time frame, SE License is a plus.
