We are seeking an experienced (Heavy Duty) Supervisor and strong experience in Heavy Duty machinery, with Heavy Duty certification to oversee 3-4 mechanics and operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our facility.
Must-Have : This role requires a strong understanding of Heavy-Duty Equipment such as cranes, tractors, and trucks. Leadership skills, a thorough understanding of heavy equipment operation, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
The Senior Heavy-Duty Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards, optimizing workflows, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations and coordinate activities among various departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate heavy equipment, including cranes and tractor-trailers, as needed.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as heavy lifting, engine repairs, tire service, and maintenance using hand tools.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Fabricate components and solder connections as required for repairs.
- Train and mentor 3-4 mechanics on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels of tools and materials necessary for operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
