Role Overview
Client is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the ERP Program Director. This new role will report to the Executive Vice President (EVP), the chief administrative officer, with joint oversight from the EVP and Provost. The ERP Program Director will be responsible for leading the ERP transformation program, overseeing readiness activities, vendor selection, and implementation.

The client has completed a formal assessment of its current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and developed a strategic roadmap to guide the transition over the next decade. This initiative includes replacing PeopleSoft with a new platform to support Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, and Academic functions. Readiness efforts are underway to ensure a smooth transformation by addressing impacts on people, policies, processes, data, and technology.

Defining and communicating the vision, goals, and strategy for the ERP transformation.
Leading and managing the ERP program across HCM, Finance, Academic functions, reporting, integrations, and enabling technologies.
Working with the Executive Steering Committee and Program Steering Committee to drive decision-making.
Overseeing change management efforts, ensuring communication strategies align with culture.
Partnering with internal leaders and external consultants to execute the program effectively.
Managing risks, roadblocks, and scope changes, and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Leading a team of project managers, ensuring deliverables are met within scope, timeline, and budget.
Managing vendor relationships and ensuring alignment with the goals.
Upholding diversity, equity, and inclusion principles throughout the transformation.

Required Qualifications
10 years of experience leading large-scale digital and business transformation programs (ERP readiness & implementation).
Experience in higher education, with an understanding of academic and administrative business processes.
Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, navigate complex organizational structures, and drive process transformation.
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering results.
PMP certification or equivalent experience.
