We are seeking experienced Quality Analysts to support the CurRent NYC initiative for the State of New York . This initiative aims to enhance landlord services through improved customer service, self-service capabilities, electronic rent payments, and accurate payment tracking.
Job Description
The Quality Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of software applications developed under the CurRent NYC initiative. This role requires extensive experience in Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies , software validation, and automation testing across different Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) phases .
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate application functionality and performance.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure the software meets business and technical requirements.
Utilize Selenium WebDriver with TestNG to create automated test scripts using Java and implement Page Object Model (POM) design patterns .
Conduct Web Services testing (SOAP, REST) using SOAPUI, validating XML schema and XML parsers.
Perform cross-browser testing (IE, Firefox, Chrome) to ensure software compatibility.
Write custom CSS Selectors and XPath expressions to automate AJAX calls, child windows, and iFrames.
Generate detailed test reports and logs , document defects, and track issues to resolution.
Work with Jenkins for CI / CD automation , GitLab for version control , and integrate test automation in the development pipeline.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure software quality.
Required Qualifications
4 years of experience in QA methodologies and validation processes within SDLC and STLC.
4 years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using TestNG and Java , including OOP concepts and POM.
4 years of experience testing Middleware / Web Services (SOAP, REST) using SOAPUI , validating XML, and working with XML Schema and XML parsers.
4 years of experience in cross-browser testing (IE, Firefox, Chrome) and handling advanced test scenarios.
4 years of experience with TestNG for automation testing reports .
4 years of experience using Jenkins for continuous integration , automation job scheduling, and configuration.
