Education/Experience
Certification as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Masters's degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
Appropriate NY-state licensure required: must have an active New York License.

The COVID pandemic, along with other worldwide issues currently taking place has caused overwhelming stress and panic to everyone. People feek lonely, isolated, depressed, confused, misunderstood and anxious. The impact on the population's mental health has led to an even greater need for therapists to deliver mental health care.
Some of the duties for this position are as follows:
-Listen to and encourage their client.
-Be kind, dependable, and empathic.
-It is necessary to show these abilities as a specialist to assist the client in feeling more comfortable.
-Help clients reflect on their life and emotional struggles.
-Working with children and families who struggle with various mental health and substance use disorders.
-Engage in collaborative work with other provider networks within the community to better assist the client being served.
-Creating comprehensive treatment plans that reflect the client's needs; the goals within the plan must be measurable and attainable.
-Must have strong critical thinking skills to determine an accurate diagnosis and develop a proper treatment plan.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,400.00 per month
