What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Cashier position at Rising Star Casino?
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist customers; provide a positive experience for guests.
- Post bets from patrons and redeem Sports Wagering Operations tickets or vouchers.
- Process and maintain accurate transactions and reconciliations.
- Understand the Sportsbook House Rules and have the ability to answer patron questions.
- Reviews and Files CTR and SARC under Title 31
- Control and balance cash drawer.
- Provide check cashing, token/coin redemption, cash equivalents and chip exchange for Casino patrons.
- Redeem and sell tokens. Redeem coupons.
- Communicate with pit personnel
- Follow established house rules, procedures, and internal control policy.
- Handle customer deposit and credit transactions.
- Operate a Jet-sort token counter.
- Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.

- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Six months experience in Cage Cashier, Sports Wagering or bank preferred, money handling experience important.
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Basic mathematics skills and computer skills, ability to effectively interact with people.
- Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.
Other Specialized Requirements: Ability to remain in one position for long periods of time, ability to lift 25 pounds frequently, ability to work any shift.
