Essential Job Functions (Dealer):
- Deals various table games.
- Handles currency and chips.
- Protects bankroll.
- Follows house rules and dealing procedures.
- Monitors layout at all times.
- Must have ability to meet tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Marine and/or Security departments during times of emergency or otherwise, as required of the crew of a Coast Guard certified vessel.
Essential Job Functions (Floor Supervisor):
- Supervises dealers within designated area of pit.
- Issues markers/credit.
- Orders fills and credits.
- Verifies financial transactions at table.
- Monitors betting and playing action.
- Arbitrates customer disputes.
- Rates customer play.
- Establishes customer base.
Other Job Functions:
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Three years prior experience as a Dealer.
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Thorough knowledge of several games including at least two main games (Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, or Poker); ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.
- Other Specialized Requirements: Ability to move around casino floor during entire shift; ability to simultaneously watch four to six tables; ability to hear all necessary dealer calls from four tables away.
