What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiver position at Rising Star Casino?
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs warehouse tasks as directed.
- Assist in counts and weight checks, maintain stock levels, stock items in designated areas, and perform merchandise inspection.
- Distributes stock to the appropriate outlets via company vehicle, forklift or by physically distributing. .
- Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
Other Job Functions:
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Note: this position will not perform or assist with any gaming function.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Ability to effectively interact with people, ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 3 (Must be at least 18 years of age).
Other Specialized Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to be insured by company insurance carrier.
