What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Supervisor position at Rising Star Casino?
Essential Job Functions:
- Assists in monitoring operation of slot machines and participates in the payout of manual jackpots.
- Supervise Slot attendants
- Trouble-shoots issues with the sports wagering kiosks, such as ticket jams
- Promotes positive guest relations by having knowledge of all amenities, events and promotions throughout property.
- Knows the company’s internal controls, policy and procedures.
- Assists Slot Shift Manager on daily basis.
- Protects Company assets.
- Ensures compliance with Title 31, to include Multiple Transaction Logs, Currency Transaction Reports, Suspicious Activity Reports W2G’s, etc.
- Assists in training employees and enforcing all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilize casino management system computer functions i.e. making Reward cards, point redemption and issuing complimentaries.
- Must have ability to meet tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Marine and/or Security departments during times of emergency or otherwise as required.
- Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
Other Job Functions:
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Two years in the slot industry.
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Complete knowledge of all gaming regulations; Good communication skills and ability to interact with people on a professional level; Ability to carry out directions.
- Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.
- Other Specialized Requirements: Ability to move around casino floor during entire shift; ability to work any shift.
