What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Porter (Hotel) position at Rising Star Casino?
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs physical set-up for all meetings, shows, and concerts.
- Cleans, mops, dusts, buffs, and maintains carpets and hard surface floors.
- Cleans and polishes all areas and surfaces as assigned including front and back of house areas, stairwells, outside and shoreline of property.
- Removes, disposes of, and recycles all trash as appropriate.
- Follows safety rules at all times.
- Attends chemical and safety training classes.
- Moves boxes, furniture, etc. as assigned.
- Operates electrical and non-electrical equipment.
- Complies with departmental and company policies.
- Completes other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
Other Job Functions:
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Previous cleaning experience.
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Ability to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
