Our primary business lines included Facility Support and Temporary Staffing Servics. We seek to fill these positions with qualified candidates that can grow with our service level pursuits.
Summary : Rising Star Resource Development Corporation is seeking an experienced and talented floor technician to care for its client sites. Knowledge of floor care should include experience with concrete and stone, Terrazzo tile, Ceramic tile, wood and carpet cleaning. Additional experience in pressure washing concrete and window washing a plus. HOURS START THE MONTH OF JULY AND ARE WEEKENDS ONLY AS NEEDED. HOURS WILL VERY FOR DURATION OF CONTRACT.
Essential Functions :
- Routine cleaning functions in assigned area per established schedule and methods i.e. dusting, vacuuming, pulling trash, disinfecting bathrooms and other general cleaning of service area.
- Carpet spotting / shampooing using a carpet extractor
- Removal and application of floor finishes and sealants
- Manage and Operate special floor care services to grow and expand services
- Report and capture quality assurance / control procedures using smart phone
- Lead and or support other special projects as assigned : Professional Window Washing Services, High Pressure concrete washing, Intensive Cleaning etc.
Technical Skills : Knowledge, Training and Certification in floor cleaning and care. Additional training and certification available through agency. Must possess knowledge of chemicals associated with floor care. Must be proficient in writing and speaking english.
Qualitative Skills : Excellent interpersonal communication and multitasking skills are a must. Ability to lead, train and give directions to others. Must be reliable, punctual and presentable. Driver's license in good standing and preferably a clean background. We are able to work with less than favorable backgrounds.
Education / Experience : High School Diploma - 2 to 4 plus years janitorial and or floor care experience
Physical Demand : Heavy lifting occasionally of 25 to 60 lbs. Typical services completed before 1am in morning.
Work Location : Various contract locations within the DFW area. Majority of contracts are down town. Services are performed on site availability meaning day services and evening services.
Travel Requirements : 10 percent travel overnight required for training, education, conferences or job assignments.
Compensation : This will be an Hourly Position, see below for wage range
